“The vineyard near the house enjoys greater favor: it is the first that we see in the morning as we open the shutters and the last that we check before returning home in the evening. From the vineyard Maso Papa we have a Pinot Grigio out of the box, that can offer simultaneously minerality and fatness in the mouth. We recommend it as an aperitif. It goes well with fish, white meats, thick soups, egg-based dishes. A well balanced and elegant wine, with a distinctive bouquet.”

Pinot Grigio Maso Papa comes from the same vineyard located in San Lazzaro, in the Municipality of Trento. The porphyric soil and the altitude (300 m) give to the Pinot Grigio Maso Papa fragrances and minerality that reflect the soul of the land and of my work.

The soil surface structure is composed of sand and coarse fragments such as gravel. The base has a porphyritic origin. West exposure.

The average age of vines, grown on the traditional pergola trentina system, is around 25 years.

The harvest is done entirely by hand in cases during the first week of September when the grapes are perfectly ripe.

Maso Cantanghel has been certified organic since 2012, marked by the number ITBIO005V259.
